Postgraduate Certificate in Cardiovascular Practice

Our postgraduate certificates are inter-professional postgraduate programmes, designed to meet the needs of a diverse range of healthcare professionals who support populations with a range of long-term conditions and multi-morbidities.  

The PgCert in Cardiovascular Practice allows you to take a deeper dive into cardiovascular practice at Master’s level, earning a certificate to demonstrate your accredited learning. 

Programme structure 

To earn the PgCert in Cardiovascular Practice, you will need to complete 60 credits of Level 7 study.  

You’ll take one required module, totalling 30 credits: 

• Advancing Heart Failure Practice (30 credits) 

You’ll also select an additional 30 credits from our Level 7 cardiovascular modules: 

• Advancing Cardiovascular Practice: Atrial Fibrillation and Stroke Management (30 credits) 

• Advancing Practice in Cardiovascular Risk Reduction and Preventative Care (30 credits)
