This Tackling the Complexity of Managing Heart Failure Short Course is aimed at any healthcare professional who participates in the delivery and management of care for people with chronic heart failure, their families and carers.
This course is delivered by Interactive Blended Online Learning including three pre-recorded lectures, videos and a minimum of five live sessions offered with a module support tutor to ensure learners get the opportunity to ask questions and discuss with peers.
The Tackling the Complexity of Managing Heart Failure Short Course allows the acquisition of both practical skills and clinical knowledge necessary to manage the complex needs of patients and carers from the early diagnostic phase through to end of life.
In addition, it equips the learner with a broader understanding of the multi-systems approach to disease management and strategic service development. This course explores the pathophysiology, diagnosis and management of heart failure. It focuses on both pharmacological and non-pharmacological management of heart failure and how this may be impacted by co-morbid conditions.
It is aimed at healthcare practitioners who are working with people with heart failure and complex needs and will enable learners to apply the evidence in the context of other comorbidities.
