Why study an MSc in long Term Conditions?

Our MSc in Long-Term Conditions is an inter-professional postgraduate programme, designed to meet the needs of a diverse range of healthcare professionals who support populations with a range of long-term conditions and multi-morbidities.  

The programme will support you in adapting to changing evidence bases, role transitions, and a constantly evolving political and economic climate, building knowledge and skills to support these professional requirements. The programme also develops your critical cognisance of evidence and guidance within their specialist area so that you can navigate published evidence, published disease management guidelines, Department of Health requirements, and professional regulating bodies’ advice and recommendations.  

Programme structure 

To earn the MSc in Long-Term Conditions, you will need to complete 180 credits of Level 7 study.  

You’ll take four required modules, totalling 90 credits: 

You’ll also select an additional 90 credits from our range of Level 7 modules. You can choose to focus on a specific clinical area, or take modules across a range of topics. Some suggested pathways are listed below.
