How a Learning Licence works:

Once you have purchased the Learning Licence, you'll be emailed a Learning Licence code (or codes, if you have purchased multiple licences). You can then pass the code(s) on to the learner. The learner can then visit our online shop to book their course place, and enter the Learning Licence code at checkout. If you have purchased multiple Learning Licences, the codes will be sent to you on separate emails.

You will have 6 months (from the date of purchase) to allocate this Learning Licence code to a learner, and for the learner to book their place. Spirometry Update has ongoing enrolment throughout the year, so learners can book at any time.

For People already qualified only in spirometry

Our Spirometry Update Package is specifically designed for people who are looking to fulfil the Continual Professional Development (CPD) required to complete their annual ARTP certification.

The package comprises six months access to the online course and access to our Ask Spiro service.

  • The bite sized course is made up of a pre-recorded lecture along with a knowledge check assessment
  • The Ask Spiro Service provides you with access to an online Q&A service  which is accessible Monday to Friday each week (except Bank Holidays)

As part of your six-month access to the package, you can submit unlimited questions to our spirometry experts as often as you need. This ensures that you have:

  • Expert support - our experts are clinically active and up to date with national guidelines.
  • Quick response time - our experts will respond to your question within two working days.
  • Added value of direct access to spirometry experts working in the field

Please note that individual patient cases will not be discussed, nor will diagnosis be commented on.

Course benefits:

  • Flexible learning – You can complete your online pre-recorded lecture and the spirometry knowledge check at a pace that is suitable for you. As access is for six months, you can listen to the lecture several times before completing the questionnaire
